Our services
Psychologically informed spaces led by peers with lived experience. Please join us and find your tribe - semi structured peer support, or free social space.
Social space for games and crafts. Join us to chat, play games, or quietly 'just be'.
Emotional support, shared experiences, and learning more about neurodivergence.
Autism & ADHD Peer Support Group
Our peer support group is a space where you can be yourself with no need to mask. We take a semi structured approach over two hours, with the first half giving everyone a chance to check in, and a more structured discussion in the second half on a topic related to autism or ADHD. Things like executive functions, emotion regulation, friendships, and self-esteem. We cover 12 topics, one each week, and then rotate again. Check our Facebook page to see what topic we're on at the moment.
You are welcome to come to just one session, one round of 12, or every time forever, whatever works for you!
We don't believe that support should be time limited, and we believe in the value of connection in in-person spaces.
Find us upstairs at Canterbury Umbrella, 1-3pm on Tuesdays in term time. Please book as we only have 10 spaces (the room cannae take any more, Captain!). Led by Jo (see the 'about us' page).
Harbour Hangout
Harbour Hangout is sort of the opposite to the peer support group - the rules are... there are no rules!
Jokes. You still have to be nice.
Harbour Hangout is a space for autistic and ADHD folk to hang out, talk about whatever you like, find friendships, bring your own portable hobby, play games, chat, or just 'be' while you do some crafting or colouring.
We have a fab new volunteer joining us in 2026 who will be leading a different craft activity each week (just to give a little bit of structure for those who find zero structure just too daunting!)
No need to book - just rock up and bring your whole self. We welcome you. Fridays, term time only, 11am-1pm, upstairs at Canterbury Umbrella.
